remington 7400 problems
My sales clerk has his Dads old 742 also 30'06 and said hundreds of rounds have been shot thru it. Its been great. I read where several million have been sold. No pain is a good thang !!!! I actually got a full magazine to cycle throught the gun, and did mark the tape. I gave it a good look over. Anymore Iam more concerned with the two legged variety of deer anyways. I'm gonna go ahead and use my magical powers to resurrect this thread, because it is just the ticket I needed! At fifty yards I can almost keep bullets touching on a target. My son is now a proud owner of a Rem 700 ADL..... why would a bolt freeze up i have never physicly seen any problems what would it be caused by oil grease? If your auto loader is NOT ejecting a spent round then this fix is the solution to your problem, If your auto loader is ejecting the spent round but not driving a live cartridge home then this is not the remedy and you should first try a new clip and a thorough cleaning (with one exception which i will explain later.). The barrel bends up at the gas block, and the muzzel whips up slightly behind that. I cannot beleive that the spring length could be off that much. One good advantage is that it is very "grey". When the weather warmed up in the slightest it would be reliable again. I wouldnt mind to get one of the heavy aftemarket barreled Minis, but the price really isnt cost effective unless youre stuck with a Mini (i.e in CA).
